Privacy policy

Mormind operates the mormind.ca website. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site, what it is used for and how to exercise your rights.

What we collect

• Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to learn how many visits the site receives, which pages are viewed, the type of device and browser, and the language and approximate region of visitors. Google Analytics then places cookies in your browser. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookie is placed.
• Server logs. Like any website, our server records technical data: IP address, date and time, page requested and browser used. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working properly. They are kept for 14 days.
• Emails. If you write to us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use them to reply and to follow up on your request.
• Fonts. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser then shares your IP address with Google.
• Your preferences. Your language choice and your cookie choice are stored in your browser. They are not sent to us.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use advertising cookies.

Your consent

On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. You may decline: the site works the same way.

You can change your mind at any time: change my cookie choice. This link is also at the bottom of every page, under “Cookie settings”.

Service providers and transfers outside Québec

We rely on service providers to run the site and our email: Google (analytics and fonts), Microsoft (email) and our hosting provider. These providers may process information outside Québec and Canada, including in the United States.

Retention

Analytics data is kept for no more than 14 months in Google Analytics. Server logs are kept for 14 days. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain our business relationship.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and you may withdraw your consent. Write to us at contact@mormind.ca: we will reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
